How to Submit Your Scoresheets

If you do not have an official USA Hockey or comparable scoresheet, we've included a scoresheet for use with Microsoft Excel.  There are two versions with this file, you will see their titles at the bottom of the screen when you open the file.

Scoresheet
(open only with Microsoft Excel)

Print

The Print file is set-up so that you may print this scoresheet and use it as a blank for your games.  It's recommended you print this out to get a feel for the sheet.  You will notice the boxes are small, so please use care when writing on this sheet.  You will need another piece of paper to track shots on goal, but there are spots to enter shots on goal by period.  Please fill these out with the shots on goal for that period.

Please write in a three letter abbreviation for each team in the boxes for Goals, Shots and PIM as well as the full school name for Home and Visitor.  Game date, game time and site are also included at the top of the screen.

Type

You can also choose to type in the stats as they happen by using the Type scoresheet.  You will want to make a copy of this sheet by right clicking on "Type", "Move or Copy", then "Create a Copy".  Double-click on the tab to rename the sheet with your team's name and opponent.

Type in the rosters in the boxes provided.  There are 21 spaces provided, please begin typing the position (goalies required only), number and name of each player that is playing, beginning with the first line.  Please list the goalies in the first two rows

Also, type in the three letter abbreviation for the home and visiting teams under GOALS ONLY.  This will copy down to the remaining boxes so you only need to type in the teams in their corresponding boxes under goals by period only.

When typing in penalties, there is a menu already in the system to make it easy.  All you need to do is type the first three or four letters of the penalty.  Under minutes for penalty, enter 2, 5, 10 or Game.  Again, "Game" is already in the system and will automatically appear when you press "G".  For game misconducts, you will type "Game" in the infraction box and the rest of the word will pop-up.  Press "Enter" to complete the word.

There are other hidden features of this scoresheet that we will go over at a later time and date.  Right now, this will get you started.
